Professor in Exercise Physiology

Dr. Lucia is Full Professor in Exercise Physiology at the Faculty of Health Sciences (European University of Madrid, Spain). He is also Senior Researcher at the Center for Sports Research and Physical Activity (European University of Madrid, Spain).
He has a Degree and a PhD in Medicine (Complutense University of Madrid, Spain).
His primary lines of research has been directed toward the benefits of physical exercise in patients with cancer, neuromuscular pathologies, aging, and high sport performance. He has co-authored over 400 indexed articles. His Research Group has win several times the Spanish National Research Award in Sports Medicine.
