Coming from the airport it takes you 36 minutes by train, change trains at Düsseldorf Central Station.

Busline 738 connects Düsseldorf and Mettmann. It takes much longer than the train.
By bike it is about 17 km from Düsseldorf City Center to Mettmann. Several routes possible.
