Executive General Manager Performance

Jesse Korf is one of Australia’s leading high-performance sport executives, currently serving as the Executive General Manager – Performance at AusCycling, where he oversees the strategic direction, planning, and delivery of elite programs across all Olympic, Paralympic, and non-Olympic cycling disciplines. A globally experienced leader with a footprint across Europe, North America, and Australia, Jesse is recognised for shaping environments where athletes, coaches, and teams can perform at the highest level.
Since 2022, Jesse has driven a transformative long-term performance strategy aligned to Paris 2024, Los Angeles 2028, and Brisbane 2032, delivering record outcomes including 8 Olympic medals, 11 Paralympic medals, and #1 on the Commonwealth Games medal table. His leadership has doubled the organisation’s performance capability and established two national Centres of Excellence, unifying Australia’s endurance, para-cycling, BMX freestyle, and acceleration disciplines within a cohesive high-performance system.
Alongside his role at AusCycling, Jesse contributes to Australia’s national high-performance agenda through the Australian Institute of Sport, informing strategic frameworks shaping the nation’s preparation for Brisbane 2032. His expertise is also sought beyond cycling: he has collaborated with the West Coast Eagles (AFL) on high-performance innovation and has engaged with U.S. Special Forces units, contributing to cross-domain learning in resilience, decision-making, and elite team culture.
With a PhD in Kinesiology and Health Science (York University) and a Master’s in International Sports Management (Johan Cruyff Institute), Jesse blends scientific depth with practical leadership. His earlier career spans performance pathway leadership for Cycling Canada, strength & conditioning and physiology roles in elite speed skating, and coaching professional basketball teams in Europe.
Jesse is known for his athlete-centred, data-informed philosophy; his ability to build high-trust, high-accountability cultures; and his passion for advancing human capability through evidence-based innovation. His work lives at the intersection of sport, science, and organisational design, bringing together insights from Olympic champions, professional teams, and elite military groups to redefine what high performance can be.
