Prof. Carsten Lundby is an internationally renowned scientist who has published +200 scientific articles. His main interest is within human physiology and how humans adapt to external stimulus such as exercise, altitude, heat, physical activity and bed rest. Main topics within basic physiology includes the regulation and assessment of blood volume. He has lead clinical trials within kidney failure. He is member of a number of editorial boards for scientific journals and serves on international commissions. Carsten has extensive experience within medical device development and certification and is the CEO of the MedTech company Detalo Health where the main product is the Detalo Clinical blood volume anlyser which is MDR certified. Carsten does outdoor sports approximately 350 days/ year.
