Information for delegates

Below you will find some practical information for our delegates

Registration desk
At arrival collect your badge at the registration desk. Make sure you arrive on time since it can be busy on the first day. All delegates will receive a small bag and a gift (bike repair set).
Your badge is your access to the sessions and breaks

Sessions
Registered delegates have access to all sessions during the day. Coffee will be served during the breaks in the main hall. A lunch will be served in the main hall as well.
Sessions start at 09.00
Please note that it is not permitted to film the presentations.

Posters will be at display all day in the main hall

Abstracts
Abstracts will be available for registered delegates about 10 days before the event. They are for personal use only!
When available you will receive a password by email.

Parking
There is a big parking space about 300 meters from the venue. (See under venue)
In the venue there are a limited number of parking spaces and they can only be accessed if the license plate number is given to the venue before June 20. You can send a request to info@science-cycling.org, which is not a guarantee that you will get a place. request to info@science-cycling.org

Conference Evening
The conference evening takes place at Villa Le Fontanelle. Distance from the tramvia station careggi-Hospital to the Villa is about 1.5 km. You can walk over. Just be careful at the road, since there is a narrow section on the way up.
The Villa has a large parking space in case you arrive by car.
Busline no 40 has a stop at the entrance gate of the villa. (Stop Di Careggi 06 or stop Cosimo il Vecchio di Careggi) The bus runs till about 20.00 hours.
You can also take Tramvia Line 1 until the end station at Careggi Hospital. From this place we will run a small shuttle service to the entrance of the villa. (shuttle runs 19.15-20.15) Later in the evening we have a shuttle from the Villa back to the Tramvia station. (21.45-22.45). The bus stop at the Tramvia station is on the opposite side of the street, left of the entrance to the parking place.
Other options are taxi’s and bikes.

Please note that entrance to the conference evening is only for full delegates or persons who purchased an extra ticket. Your badge is your entrance and has a symbol for the evening on it.
